Meet Jacob. Jacob is a seasoned accounting and government contracting expert with over 15 years of experience in accounting and more than a decade specializing in federal contracting. He holds a B.S. in Accounting from James Madison University and completed the Masters Academy in Government Contracting at George Mason University.

Successfully recovered over $3 million for government contractors through Termination Settlement Proposals and Requests for Equitable Adjustments

Prepared over $4 billion in cost proposals, applying Shipley Associates’ methodologies to support clients with cost narratives, subcontractor RFQ management, cost modeling, and forward pricing strategies

What activity or person from your youth influenced you most and provided you with life wisdom?
Growing up playing sports, all my coaches from youth sports through the collegiate level taught me that there’s simply no substitute for hard work.

Have you ever completed anything on your “bucket list”? What was it?
I went skydiving with my entire family, which was a pretty cool experience.

What is a quality that you admire in others?
I really admire team players.

What are you passionate about outside of work?
Spending time with my family is one of the key reasons I started the firm. Being able to provide quality solutions for customers while balancing time with my wife, three kids, and our dog is truly a gift.
