Throughout her career, Laura has held key leadership roles, including Contracts Manager at GDIT, Vice President of Contracts at Valkyrie Enterprises, and Chief Administrative Officer at Ironclad Technology Services. Get to Know Laura

What activity or person from your youth influenced you most and provided you with life wisdom?
That’s hard. Playing sports definitely had an impact on who I am today. Although I now realize it wasn’t the sport that impacted me as much as the people. The greatest gift they actually gave me was the gift of being present. I can list countless adults throughout my years in Little League and Community sports who impacted my life by being present each in their own way, but each a piece of me being who I am today.

What is a quality that you admire in others?
Authenticity

What are you passionate about outside of work?
Aside from my family, I just really love helping others. Being able to bring a smile to someone else’s face is perhaps the greatest gift I can ever receive.

Have you ever completed anything on your “bucket list”? What was it?
I have never made a bucket list. Odd given how much I love making lists. But as long as I am making memories and moments with my friends and family I never really thought I needed a list.
